Don will be performing at Berkeley's beloved venue, The Freight & Salvage, on Thursday, June 28, 2018. Doors open at 7 PM, showtime is 8 PM. He and his band will be performing new songs such as:
EVERYONE COMES FROM SOMEWHERE: A welcome song for immigrants, honoring my own immigrant roots.
HOPE IS HARD TO KILL: Written in the aftermath of the 2016 election, as an antidote to the hard times that followed. This catchy, rocking tune acknowledges tough times we've had before, and shows a fighting spirit that won't give in– "Everyday, I fight, to keep my hope alive!"

OPENING ACT: SUSAN ANDERS
Susan Anders returns to her hometown Berkeley for a special performance at the Freight featuring what Dirty Linen has called her “Music for adults: smart, witty, and insightful, all brought to life by Susan's expressive voice.” Susan will perform songs from her most recent album Loop de Loop as well as some older faves. She’ll also debut some new songs from her next album, written in the voices of famous people from American history. Singer-songwriters Tom Manche and Renee Hayes join Susan on guitar and backing vocals, and Tom will start the set with a couple of his wickedly funny songs.
