EVENTS

SATURDAY, MAY 16 6:30-9 pm.
November was incredibly fun, and we are excited to have another high-energy evening of music and dancing with all of you. I'll be playing with the same great band-- Tal Morris on guitar, Kevin Hayes on drums, Marc Russo on sax, Curtis Ohlson on bass, John R. Burr on keyboards, and Margaret Belton singing backup and some lead. Lucca is located at 439 First Street in Benicia. There's no cover charge, lots of great food and drink, and a relaxed and welcoming vibe. We will be playing an assortment of originals and covers, with an emphasis on danceability!

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 22, 2025
Don's 2025 album, "Hope Is Hard to Kill," will have its official release to the world on October 24, but it's available soon on Don's website: [link coming]. Don will be celebrating the CD release with the Bay Area All-Stars, featuring Tal Morris, John R. Burr, Kevin Hayes and Curtis Ohlson, at Lucca's in Benicia on November 22 at 6:30 pm. Come on out and help celebrate!

He and his band  perform songs such as:

EVERYONE COMES FROM SOMEWHERE: A welcome song for immigrants, honoring my own immigrant roots.

HOPE IS HARD TO KILL: Written in the aftermath of the 2016 election, as an antidote to the hard times that followed. This catchy, rocking tune acknowledges tough times we've had before, and shows a fighting spirit that won't give in– "Everyday, I fight, to keep my hope alive!"

THE BAND:

Tal Morris, guitars
John R. Burr, keyboards
